Freshman quarterback Andre Adams led the Bears

The Bears' freshman quarterback sensation, Andre Adams, left a lasting impression by orchestrating the offense with 152 passing yards and delivering two pivotal touchdowns, including an electrifying 44-yard TD pass to Brandon Goliday in the second quarter.

This victory marked a significant milestone for Antioch, as it was their first win of the season, bringing their record to 1-2. Their resilience was on full display as they capitalized on Cane Ridge's three fumbles. Notably, this win was also Antioch's first triumph since October 2020 when they secured a tight 22-20 victory against McGavock. To add to the excitement, it was a triumphant return to success against Cane Ridge, with their last victory against their rivals dating all the way back to the 2013 season opener.
